Going through my life with a switchblade at my throat Always feeling lower than I’m told I’m supposed to be I wish that I could change it but there’s no room for change What I see I don’t like Very late at night I walk on down the steps that lead to hell because i am condemned I wish that i could change it cause my time is running out What I see I don’t like and what I like I don’t see Very late at night I walk on down the steps that lead to hell because i am condemned I wish that i could change it cause my time is running out What I see I don’t like Going through my life with a switchblade at my throat Always feeling lower than I’m told I’m supposed to be I wish that I could change it but there’s no room for change What I see I don’t like and what I like I don’t see

I Am Guilty 01:19
Beat my head on the wall I’ll rise until I fall I’ll stop a plane in flight Let’s go on the prowl tonight Mess my head up Mess my life up Mess your world up Mess this place up Now I’m guilty They won’t catch me I see no good I bet you wish you could Mess my head up Mess my life up Mess your world up Mess this place up I am guilty

Torn Faith 02:20
Let’s dance the night away in someone else’s sleep Be careful where you step or they might dream too deep To wake up feeling like the world is underway To drifting out of sight here comes the judgement day And then the morning breaks And then the angels wake Am I alright after all? I feel a power source controlling everything One day when I was young I heard a lizard sing Then God himself grabbed my head to set me right But I just turned off day and dove into the night And then the church bell rings And then the choir boys sing Have I lost my mind? Am I alright?

Ride the whip that cracks for you I’ll tell you things you know ain’t true Make you sweat I’ll make you shake Breathe fear in every breath you take Feed my ego off your blood Make you act the way you should Things you like soon disappear Ride the Whip Ride the Whip Throw my morals all away Get some slaves and make them pay Stop your breathing while you watch Never again the human touch Life will shorten everyday Sell my soul to make you stay Build a fire for the land Precious time we waste at hand Ride the Whip Ride the Whip
5.
The Prophecy 02:23
Well end is now Where is your hometown? In pieces on the ground Lay-a ruin before you now Cities blown to bits Houses shot to hell Living? No more souls My control has taken hold Bodies human remains Houses no more homes Children soon to die When it’s over you’ll all die Well end is here Where are your four walls? In pieces, on the ground Lay-a ruin before you now

I know the pain of wanting I know the secret of life You lived in the days of torture You felt the twist of the knife It was a dark dark day when they cast me from the sky I swam the river only to be the one who never cried Last night the flowers all died They shriveled and blew away I knew that the seasons changing Would mean another way Swim down the rancid river Let’s dive for holiness You take one final look and then you go plunging to your death

Dameron 02:50 video
In time I’ll get to go again Up to where I’m from The light shining down from the sky Another century has come and gone I was born to make this land all mine To reap just what I sow Now it’s getting close to Dameron And I despise what I’ve become Protect the people who have done no wrong They shall inherit the earth Changing shapes inside another day The years are what we’re worth Lets get it right one more time Travel high into space Dameron is rising super fast We got no time to waste Till we die

about

Part one of this 2018 release, is the band’s 1987 EP “Faith Is Torn." The first four tracks were included on VOD III (2014, now out of print), but now with original artwork from 1987 by one-time VOD bassist Bob Craig. What makes this edition “deluxe” is the inclusion of 4 unreleased tracks from a 1988 VOD session that hasn’t been heard...ever! These songs were recorded, intending to be on a full-length, titled VOD II, but the band broke up shortly after its recording. It is the same lineup as the “Faith Is Torn” sessions, but with Frank Nasta on the drums. The master mix down tapes was held since 1988 by VOD “phantom producer” Mike Delaglio, who had “turned knobs” and financed VOD during their few recording sessions and was never credited. After a somewhat lengthy legal battle, VOD gained control of the recordings, and here they are... in all their evil glory!
